After diet and exercise didn't do the trick for my high cholesterol I was told about this product. I took one in the morning and one at night a long with a flaxseed oil pill and I just got the news from my doctor: You no longer need a statin!!! Best news ever.

My doc wanted me to take DHA during pregnancy because studies have shown it helps with brain development of the fetus. I've been using Carlsen's lemon flavor cod liver oil for a few years now as a supplement so I was happy to try their super DHA pills. It's been a good pregnancy so far and hopefully my little guy will end up having great brain development.

I take two capsules a day for a total of 1 gram of DHA & EPA. The DHA/EPA amounts of 500 mg/100 mg are the FDA's recommendations. The minute amount of vitamin E helps to stabilize the DHA and EPA, so ensure your DHA supplement contains the same. I have not found the same ingredients in another brand for the great price that Carlson charges. Highly recommend!
