Three years ago I bought Maybelline's Gel Eyeliners they were GREAT NO FADE, SMEAR or Smudge. These liners expired so I threw them away. I bought NEW Maybelline Gel Liners after 8hours of wear the liner smudged and faded a whole lot. I think Maybelline changed their formula why else would the liner fade and after three years? I bought the NEW emerald velvet it is a total nightmare NOT worth the money, it faded and smeared all over my lids after 8 hours.

I bought this liner in eggplant it went on easy but by the end of the day it had smeared to the top of my eyelids and the color had faded to where it looked like it had come off of my eyelids. Do not WASTE your money. I bought Bobbi Brown a little pricey but well worth the money Bobbi Brown does not fade,smudge or smear.

This is a good gel eyeliner. I like the shade of brown - not too dark, not too light. It goes on easily and is simple to apply. It does fade a little through the day but it's not bad. It removes easily with cold cream or an eye make-up remover. The brush that comes with it is good.

I bought these liners in Eggplant and Brown and I have to say they are waterproof, however, I do NOT like the color of the brown and the eggplant they are NOT as dark as I would like them to be. They don't smudge and are waterproof, but those colors should be darker.

I've heard a lot of mixed review about this product and was hesitant at first (consumer reviews, blogs, and youtube reviews were mixed). I have to say that I really like it. Its dark goes on smooth..the brush leaves much to be desired but it get the job done. I have an urban decay liquid liner and a revlon liquid liner and I think this one is the best by far. Its buildable and it stays in place. I haven't notice any smugging or clumping. Its a beautiful deep black and for the price you can't beat it. A little goes a long way ( I learned that the hard way lol)

This is the best eyeliner! I have tried all kinds....pencils, gels, cheap, expensive...but nothing compares. I discovered this product two years ago and I just finished the tub (I clean my brushes weekly so keeping a product this long has not been an issue and it has NEVER dried out. Its just like the day I bought it). I wear the product a minimum of 4 days a week. It goes on easily and extremely smooth. It is versatile - sharp line, smudged line, thick thin. It is so easy. I have had friends ask me how I get my lines so thin and precise. For $8 you will not be disappointed!

This is a great product that can be used as a liner and shadow in one. I can use the black color for liner, and smudge the brown with a Q-tip for a shadow that lasts and lasts without creasing, even on my oily skin. Finally, a product that stays put and keeps its color until I am ready to remove it!

Really glad I found this eyeliner! I threw away all my old liners and only use this now.
For a more dramatic look I blend this with the charcoal color.
