Love this eyeliner color. Very subtle eggplant, looks better with my dark brown eyes than a black would. Eyeliner stays on, doesn't smudge.

I have no idea why a prior reviewer would think a GEL eyeliner would be a pencil or a liquid. The product is exactly as described, a gel/paste in a pot. I use pencil eyeliners for everyday but like to use gel eyeliners when I'm going out and want something more dramatic. I prefer gel eyeliners to liquid because, in my opinion, liquid eyeliner ends up looking harsh and artificial. And I find them difficult to control. Gel eyeliners are great because you can build slowly to get the precision and intensity that you want.
This eyeliner gets the job done. It goes on smoothly and stays put for the entire night (a few hours).

I was disappointed in this product, because I thought it was going to come as a pencil, or at least a liquid. It's a paste-like consitancy, you apply with a small brush, similar to a lip stain. Not happy with the product at all.

My new favorite. I have been wearing revlon colorstay blackbery for years. I love it, but I couldn't find it at two places so I tried this eyeliner. It is awesome. It goes on smooth and I can make a thick or thin line. Plus, it stays on all day without fading on my top lid. Sorry revlon, you lost me. Please do not discontinue this line, it is great!

i have been using this for a while. much better than bobbi brown or smashbox. doesnt budge n can be used for any look. but the purple is not as bold or as purple as the advertisment makes it seem. its like a golden purple and sheer.
