I purchased these for a friend to use as she has stomach problems , and at the same time I tried by using it as teeth whitening , I opened one capsule and brushed my teeth with the powder , I feel my teeth are Whitter .

I just recently discovered all the things that activated charcoal can be used for and this stuff really does work. I have Hashimotos with off the charts anti-thyroid antibodies so it has really wreaked havoc on my digestive system. I've found that these capsules work great for everything from nausea, to stomach pain, to anything going on in the lower region as well and I've been able to cut back considerably on all my Rx medicines like Zofran and carafate. I just try to keep it as far away as possible from meals so that it's not sucking up all my needed nutrients, but I'm definitely going to keep using it as it has significantly improved my quality of life. Since I started using it, I've already had to order more bottles for everyone else in the house as they fell in love with it for any occassional digestive distress they have as well.

If you have gas -- or ANY symptoms that relate to impurities in your digestive tract -- just take some activated charcoal. Nature's Way is the brand of activated charcoal that I use the most and I trust the most. I use this product as a first defense against stomach issues. It works great for me to prevent food-borne illness. If the toxins are high in my digestive track, I have found that this product will give me almost instant relief in as little as 10 minutes. Bummer!!! Used this effectively for years. Now there is less per capsule, it tastes horrible has strange sediment, 1 of 3 bottles ordered improperly sealed. Been using this since 1999, now will be hard to find replacement.

I had been reading about the benefits of taking Activated Charcoal for severe gas. Every so often, I get really, really painful gas pains high in my stomach. Nothing seemed to work until I started taking this product.
I don't take it on a regular basis..only when its really severe and within 15 minutes, the pains are gone. I've shared this with my sister and my husband and they cannot believe how well and how quickly it works.
This is something I will always keep in my medicine cabinet.
