I have borborygmi which is a condition that makes your stomach do noises all the time because of gas and when your system hasn't properly digested certain foods. It's really noisy and uncomfortable especially during meetings, in class or in a quiet environment because everyone can hear it. Charcoal has always been recommended for this condition because it absorbs gas and anything that might cause noises in your stomach and intestines. Since I've started taking this, there is a big difference. I still have noises but there are not as frequent and loud as before. I feel better in meetings and in class. Sometimes, I have to take 2 every two hours in the morning and I am good for the day, unless I drink coke or any other food that gives gas after that. It's really making a difference. It's Working for me!!!

These charcoal capsules will help to absorb unpleasant odors in your G.I. tract, and I find that they help my 'sour stomach' to be happier in general. Just make sure to drink some liquids while, and after, taking these. Otherwise, you can burp charcoal dust back into your mouth, which will give you a sore throat that lasts a day. Even with that minor drawback, I highly recommend these!!

I use Charcoal Tablet/Pills when I travel and am not sure about the food or water I consume. Even when I eat out and feel that I ate something that wasn't quite right. It takes away the toxins from the intestinal tract. Excellent product. Have been taking them off and on my entire life. You MUST be carefull though NOT to take a couple hours before or after any prescribed medicine or supplements as it will take away the effectiveness of the meds. Even if you eat something that gives you gas, bloating, indigestion or stomach discomfort the charcoal takes away those uncomfortable ailments.
