I wasn't sure how this would hold my chin-length hair but it does a good job, has two settings depending on how much hair is gripped in the pony-tail or on top of your head, and holds all day. And it didn't give me a headache like some ponytail holders.

I've been using these Pony Poufs for years now, and I can honestly say that it's the best hair clip I've ever used, and like most people I have a wide collection of clips. My hair is very fine, but it's long, layered, and medium thick in volume. This is the only clip I can count on to hold it all up in a fluffy pony without slipping and without discomfort. I use it most days at home, and I use it to pin up my hair while in the shower after washing it. If I've piled my hair in a pony up at the crown, I can coax the hair forward into the front grill of the clip to cause the pony to fan out. It never pulls out hair and never causes any damage. I wouldn't want to be without these.

I have very thick hair and bands always end up hurting by the end of the day. The Pony Pouf holds my hair and feels great all day long. I highly recommend the Pony Pouf. Super easy to use!

I have 3b long curly hair. I was really excited when I saw this to use on my curly or straightened hair but my hair never seems to stay in the part where you pull up the hair to make the "pouf". it always falls back down. Might be user error but don't think so. My hair is pretty thick so I can't really use it for a single ponytail, only half-dos. I might recommend it to someone but with the caveat that it might not work.
