I've been using this line for years. The soap has a nice rich lather. I use it on my face and upper arm; it clears my keratosis pilaris (red bumps or "chicken skin").

i have medication for acne and this is the only face product i've tried so far that hasn't irritated my skin. i've tried other sibu products and i like them.

I almost didn't use it after opening the box, because I really didn't like the smell. I decided, what the heck, I'll use it at night only so nobody but me will have to smell it. My husband has a horrible sense of smell, so I knew it wouldn't bother him. Luckily, the smell did dissipate within a half hour, so I was glad for that.

By all of the reviews, I would have thought this was a miracle soap. I normally buy DDF Foaming Cleanser from you, but I noticed you don't carry it anymore. So, I thought I'd give a "natural" soap a try, especially since all the reviews (except 1) was so positive.

I'd have to say that this is by far the worst product I have used on my skin in 20 years. I used this soap for 3 nights. I felt like it left a residue on my face, even though I thoroughly rinsed after using it. Within 1 hour, my skin had a "greasy" feel to it. I do have a few very small flesh colored bumps on my chin, that my dermatologist has diagnosed as cystic acne. I thought this might be able to help that. After the first use, I noticed several large red bumps, on my face, by the next morning. OK, I thought, maybe it's just a couple of pimples starting to form (even though I haven't had an actual "pimple" in years). I have used it several more times & each time I had more red bumps appear on my face. Today, over half of my face is covered in very tender, red bumps that itch like crazy. It even made my hands itch. Since, none of the "bumps" looked like an actual pimple, I figured that it was probably an allergic reaction. My dermatologist confirmed today that it is indeed an allergic reaction, more than likely a reaction to the Buckthorn.

I noticed the product page listed all of the "natural" ingredients it has in it & also what they do "not" put in the soap. But I am curious as to whether they use pesticides or herbicides on the plant before harvesting. I didn't see that mentioned.

I won't take a chance on using this again & I have already thrown it in the trash. Hopefully I can find my DDF Foaming cleanser somewhere else, unless Drugstore decides to carry it again.

I am particular about what bar soaps I use on my face. This one leaves my skin feeling incredibly smooth and soft. I would have given this 5 stars but I'm not thrilled with the citrus-y smell. But even so, I still think Sibu is a winner overall.

Finally an all natural facial cleanser to help my acne. what an amazing difference. i also started to use the clairsonic with this cleanser and i can't tell you how much it makes a difference.

Firstly, I was not paid to review these products and I do not work for Sibu.I have always been the kind of shopper who looks for chemicals to fix my skin. I have recently been looking into more natural products because I have very sensitive skin. I also usually have a few blemishes(whiteheads or deep, painful zits), an oily T-zone, tiny blackheads on my nose, and I scar easily when I pop my pimples due to my olive-colored skin. With this facial bar, my skin has cleared up considerably! My skin does not feel extremely tight/dry then later oily after washing - rather, my skin feels natural, but still in need of a moisturizer. After using a full bar (almost 2 months!!) my skin only has 1 pimple, scars are about 50% cleared up, my face doesn't get AS oily. I love this facial bar because the lather is incredible for a bar soap and there is no smell. The course bits in the soap seem to disappear - I never feel them on my skin unless I rub the bar directly on my face. I do not feel any residue after using. The bar lasts for around 2 months and I use morning/night. This is a great product!

I LOVE that this contains seabuckthorn oil because this ingredient is very effective in treating acne and preventing aging. The first few times I used it my skin felt dry directly after use but now my skin feels normal. It smells great and a little goes a long way, it lathers up real nice! It turns from a foam to a cream on your face, smells amazing, its all natural and its budget friendly. However, it does NOT remove makeup so if you need it for that reason alone, you would have to use either a wipe or a toner with this product. I have not had a single breakout since I started using this every morning so I am very pleased and I will purchase this product again when I run out.

This soap is amazing, it makes my skin smooth and firm. I also use the facial moisturizer. It makes my skin look fresher, younger. I highly recommend Sibu products!

I have been dealing with acne for 10 years or so and though I don't have rosacea or sensitive skin, my skin gets very pink/red at times which lead me to go for a soothing cleanser rather than harsh cleanser. I tried this after a sample was given to me. I love it! It was so soothing and didn't make my cheeks all pink and red after cleansing. It is helping to clear up my acne as well... it's a fairly good sized bar for the price.

All Sibu products are wonderful!
