My two Jack Russells love these. They are soft, so I keep them in the resealable bag they came in. I think they would dry out if I didn't do that. I also wouldn't put them in my pocket, the smell is very strong, not bad, just strong. They smell like beef boullion. I had to look at the package again to make sure it said chicken.

My dog goes absolutely crazy for these treats. He generally likes his treats but I have never seen him go this nuts for a treat before. He won't even wait for me to give a command, he just drops and goes through all of his tricks one right after the other hoping he'll hit one to get a treat. He is now learning to be patient but this sure has been a great training tool.

We're pretty careful to only give our young dog healthy, natural treats. (No rawhide, wheat or corn.) These treats are perfect. They're small enough to stash a few in your pocket for training. I use them to keep our dog behaving when we're out for a walk. She stays right at my side on the leash when she knows my pocket has her favorite treat. Just a tiny, chewy nibble at a time keeps her motiviated. We also have fun practicing her jumping skills when I toss one in the air. A little exercise, a little treat!

It is perfect for training and getting them to learn. Our mini American Eskimo can't get enough of it and keep asking for more.
They are small enough to give him a few at a time. The chicken flavor is our dog's favorite.

These treats were recommended by the instructor that led our Puppy Kindergarten class and my pup gobbles them up. Great treat for rewarding good behavior. Not at all messy and can be easily broken into smaller pieces. I like that they were available here in bigger size bag (for less money than the smaller bags I see in retail shops).
