The directions say that this a product to prevent allergies. BUT I am one of those people that get those awful sneezing attacks, and this is the only thing that stops them. I keep it in my purse, so I never worry if I am exposed to pets or perfume. Try it! Also is very safe for long term use. Be sure to get the whole inside of your nose coated, ie, put one spray more towards the front, one towards the back, sometimes I do a third spray if necessary.

I am still trying it. The label said that the full action is seen after the first two/three weeks of use, and I have not yet passed this period. I have severe allergies. I have noticed that the nose taping during the night is a little better, although I still have to use nose drops, but before I had often been the whole night taped and now I awake only one or two times. However, the runny nose and sneezing is the same than before. The good thing is that have no side effects, and doesn't make me bleed like all the regular nose drops.

I have been using this in addition to my Claritin when my allergies are really bad and it works for me. Have a difficult time finding this in my area and am glad I can get it at Drugstore.com.

I have seasonal allergies, especially in the Fall. Every year, I used to have terrible congestion in my sinuses, leading to sinus infections, post nasal drip, and bad breath. I now use NasalCrom year-round and have not had a sinus infection in over 10 years! It absolutely works, with no side effects. The only catch is that you have to start it before your symptoms crop up.

I have spring & fall allergies. I try to start using the product about 3-4 weeks before the pollen levels elevate. If the pollen picks up I use Zyrtec & Sudaphed till the product kicks in. I use the nasal rinse daily year round. Another thing that I found helpful is to shower and wash my hair to remove the pollen before I go to bed.

since the pollen count in my city was high my hayfever, congestion, runny nose and sneezing was lasting for months. afrin wasnt doing anything. once i started using nasal crom once a day it all cleared up within 2 weeks. a lot of reviews say you have to use it before your symptons start for it to work...not the case for me. this stuff is great!

My issue is tree pollen and I must start using at least one to two weeks before April to have full effect. It has no side effects that I have experienced.

I have used Nasalcrom for several years now, and I have found it to be effective and free of side-effects. Since beginning to use it, I have fewer sinus infections, because it helps to keep my sinuses clear instead of having them congested. It also helps when allergy season arrives, to keep sneezing and coughing from being a problem. I work in a busy office with clients coming in and out and of course many of them wear cologne that is offensive to someone who is allergic. This helps to make it bearable.

I swear by NasalCrom. I begin taking NasalCrom about 2 weeks before Allergy Season(Spring or Fall) to allow it to build up in my system an immunity to the seasonal allergens. It is quite effective with no side effects. And, I can still donate Platelets, unlike with other nasal sprays for allergies.

I started to suffer more frequent allergy symptoms after I got a new cat (copious amounts of fur) and the antihistamines pills weren't always doing the trick. I used it (as suggested) as a prevention for about two weeks, followed by use only when symptoms arise. I love that it goes directly to the source of my suffering within my nasal passages, putting a stop to the attack of sneezing, itchy eyes, congestion or nasal drip. It is much quicker than waiting for If a pill will stop the allergy attack. It's best to not delay use, when noticing the first symptom of your attack.
