My baby developed eczema when he turned 2 months old and he's had very severe outbreaks. He's even had to use hydrocortisone and steroid ointments (against our will) because the inflammation was just so bad.
We've tried all the products recommended to us by our pediatrician and dermatologists, including: Aquaphor, Eucerin, and Cetaphil Restorederm. All were not cheap. A friend told me to try Aveeno (which isn't cheap either, but not bad in comparison to the other products I mentioned). When my baby itches, he is very cranky and irritable. My baby immediately calms down after I apply the Aveeno Ezcema moisturizer. His face becomes smooth and the redness from the ezcema fades. I used to do a regimen that consists of applying Aveeno in the morning, Aquaphor after his bath, and then Aveeno again at night if needed. Now, I just strictly use Aveeno because it works well without leaving a slippery, sticky feeling on his body.
This product won't get rid of ezcema (especially the severe cases), but it's the best treatment outside of using prescriptions and steroids.

As an adult with eczema since childhood, I gave up on moisturizers since they never worked out. I saw the name Eczema Therapy on the product, and since it is for babies, I thought I would try it. I am amazed at the results. It is so soothing, does not irritate, and now my skin is greatly improved after three days! I have finally found a product that works. My husband said I should stock up on it in case it gets discontinued.
I use this cream after I take a shower, or before bed. Love the sent and how easily it moisturizes into your skin. I can't say there is anything wrong with it, but for certain people it will be a miss depending on your skin type and if you my have allergies.
2nd time purchasing the product for my 22 months old son and I am very happy with it. My son has Eczema on his skin occasionally and this product really calms down the affected areas.
my daughter was just 3 months old when i got to know that she is suffering from acute atopic eczema.. her skin was very very dry..i tried soi many gud quality moisturing creams and oils but after some time it gets dry again..but when i get to knw abt aveeno eczema therapy moisturing cream..i sked my doctor and started applying.. i cant believe i just need to apply it for once a day..thats it..amazing..thank u aveeno
My baby has rash on his face and body often small redness spots all over. I put this cream on trying to ease the symptom but not working at all....The rash got worse.
