Been using this sunscreen everyday for the past 5 yrs. It goes on smoothly with a few drops of Jojoba or Argan oil mixed well in the palm of my hand before I apply over my face, arms and hands. Given a few minutes, this will absorb into the skin and the white film (zinc) will disappear. I hope Beyond Coastal is around for a very long time, their sun protection products are excellent.

This went on white, just like the Badger lip balm. I gave it some time, to see if it would blend/fade, but nope. Still looked white, making me look corpse-like. Used it once, and then it went straight into the trash.

If you don't like your lips to look white, look elsewhere.

I use this face/lip sunscreen everyday of the year. It is best suited for fair to medium complexions, has a white tint going on but rubs in well after reaching body temp. Makes my face look smooth and healthy. Really like the compact container, have one in my purse, backpack and vanity. The ingredients are natural and good for the skin, highly recommend this to anyone with fair/medium skin tone looking for sun protection and a healthy glow. One thing to note, after applying to the lips, I use a lip balm with a tint to counteract the pale look, it works great.

Only face sunscreen I now use. Apply it to face, neck, chest. Not a lotion based sunscreen, so this cream applies best when it reaches body temp, only a dab for each cheek, forehead, etc. Once it is applied, the skin takes on a smooth and healthy texture - a must for those with fair to medium skin tones. It does absorb fairly well after a minute or two with a thin coat. I also like that it's a natural product. Note, I use a tinted lip balm after applying this face screen, or any lipstick will work the same to give your lips color.

I use this under my eyes and for touchups on the go and while out and about, very easy to take along as an added source of protection for the face and lips, although it does leave a thin white film on my lips. To counteract the pale look I apply Burt's Bees lip shimmer, any color, to bring on a natural look. I use Aveeno Mineral Sunscreen as my primary source of sunscreen for my entire face after applying an anti-aging moisturizing product.

I suffer from constantly chapped lips. My favorite lip balm has no spf so I wanted to try this lip specific sun screen in an effort to help protect my lips from the South Florida sun.

The Good: This sun block has a spf of 30 which is significantly higher than most lip protection balms. It's an all natural product with none of the bad stuff like parabens which is great considering it goes on your lips.

The Bad: Its not for regular daily use. Its a white cream that never gets absorbed. It just sits on your lips. I even tried layering a small amount of it over my lip balm and it still looks terrible. It clings to every little crack which is very unflattering. And with my chapped lips it clung to every little flake. eww!

Overall I would recommend this just to outdoorsy people. It says its water/sweat proof and its thick enough that I believe it. The product description should be updated to state that. It would have helped me avoid wasting my money on a product that will never get used.
