Experts agree breastfeeding is best.
Newborns grow at least inch a week during their first month of life. As the maker of Enfamil, we know that vitamin D is a key nutrient to support this early growth. The American Academy of Pediatrics recommends 400 IU of vitamin D daily. Enfamil PREMIUM Newborn provides 400 IU of vitamin D in 27 fl oz-close to the approximate daily intake of a newborn through 3 months.
Why is vitamin D important?
Helps the body absorb calcium and phosphorus
Aids in bone strengthening by helping deposit these minerals into the bones
Helps maintain blood levels of calcium and phosphorus
Helps support a healthy immune system
This unique formula also includes our Natural Defense Dual Prebiotic™ Blend, designed to help support babies' own natural defenses, and has an easy-to-digest protein blend.\
Designed to act more like breast milk than our previous formula, our proprietary dual prebiotic blend is designed to work throughout the digestive tract.
Prebiotics feed the good bacteria, found naturally in the digestive tract-where 70% of your baby's immune system is located. And emerging science suggests prebiotics may support your baby's developing immune system. With Enfamil PREMIUM Newborn you can feed a formula designed to help support your baby's own natural defenses.
Enfamil PREMIUM Newborn provides your baby complete nutrition at every feeding, in a formula designed to help support brain and eye development, growth and immune system development.
