My Ophthalmologist recommended that I use specifically this brand of eye drop while I was recuperating from an eye procedure for Chronic Dry Eye syndrome. It's more expensive than the other brands, but with the Balance, I only need one drop in each eye in the morning and one before I go to bed. Before the eye procedure, I used Ultra and other brands that were good, but I needed to douse each eye with about five or six drops to get relief. I understand that the procedure helped, but even when I tried it in the past, I could feel the difference in the superior quality of Balance over the others. My Ophthalmologist also stated that it's very good with people who wear contact lenses.

I bought this to try as I am a regular user of Systane Ultra. I believe all the Systane products are very good after trying this one. They are the most gentle on my eyes and never sting. Other products I've tried work okay, but sometimes there is an initial stinging sensation that I don't like. I've never had a Systane product sting.

I wondered if I was wasting my time trying this new and improved version because I was convinced that I was ready for the prescription drops. However, I was pleasantly surprised at how effective these drops are and how much longer they last than the older Systane. So, if you are reaching that point of frustration, give the new Systane a try! I'm pleased with the ease of application and especially the relief I get.

prescribed by eye dr- works great wasn't sure why I was getting white dry buildup on the sides of my eyes thru out the day, not just in the am. Clears the eyes redness and they feel better.
I use this product every morning before I get out of bed. I put them in my eyes, add my gel eye pillow and relax before getting up. These drops made such a different to my sore eyes. what a great addiction! Thanks!
