• Be careful when removing bag from microwave as hot water and steam inside will be very hot.
• Only sterilize parts deemed safe for microwave sterilization
• Steam Bag is intended only for plastics that are microwave safe
• Do not place the steam bag in a conventional oven
• Do not place the steam bag on the metallic grill that some microwave ovens have
• Be sure to follow the Time Chart on the back as heating longer than the recommended time may distort shape of parts

1. Clean and rinse baby bottle parts to be sterilized.
2. Add 2 ounces (60ml) of water into bag.  Using less than the appropriate amount of water into bag.  Using less than the appropriate amount of water could distort shape of baby bottle parts.
3. Place baby bottle parts into bag.  Make sure all parts are disassembled.  Do not overfill steam bag with parts.
4. Seal bag tightly.
5. put bag into microwave oven on center of turntable.  Make sure bag is standing upright.  Rotate bag half-way through if your microwave does not have a turntable.
6. Microwave on High Power per the time chart:
   

   1.5 minutes	for 1000 watt oven
   3 minutes	for 800-1100 watt oven
   5 minutes	for 500-750 watt oven

7. Using an oven mitt or pot holder, carefully remove the bag from your microwave.  Warning:  Be careful as steam and water will be very hot.
8. Use Drain Spout to pour out excess water before removing the sterilized parts.
