I use the razor daily and it does do a nice job of shaving cleanly. However as with past rotary razors I do tend to get spots of irritation here and there that take some time to heal. Also I just came out of a Braun with the cleaning system, which was expensive, thus no more cleaning system, but now I'm afraid I'm not getting my razor clean enough, adding to the irritation. Guess that's why the cleaning system is so expensive to maintain.

I've used a Braun for about 10 years now, but was in the mood to change. I'm glad I did! This razor is fantastic! Zero complaints (after getting past the sticker shock). I can't see how anyone would be disappointed with this razor.
I personally have only used it dry ... but after my experience there, I don't see me using it any other way.
This razor is MANY times more quiet than my Braun ... I'm not kidding you when I say I wasn't sure it actually turned on the first time I used it.

Bought this product at Drugstore.com. I have been a Norelco user for over 40 years, and while this model shaves okay, the design is ridiculous! First, and I can't understand why I have not seen this problem listed before, for any of the SensoTouch models; the stubble does not stay in the shaver!! It is constantly falling out as you shave if the razor heads are turned downward at all, which happens often, especially when you try to use the absurdly positioned trimmer, and it makes a big mess! You also have to clean this shaver after every use because of the very small collection chambers. Also, I spoke to an extremely unhelpful customer service supervisor named Claudine, and all she could tell me to do was to clean the shaver, in the middle of a shave;…… really?? I absolutely do not recommend it!

I purchased this for Fathers Day for my husband. These are high end, and NOT sold in the stores.There were no reviews, so I took a chance and went for it. My husband is thrilled. He loves the way the shaver moves across his face, hugging the contours. Quickly grooms, nice and clean! He only dry shaves, so I can't comment on the wet shave. Light in the hand, quickly recharges.
