I was surprised to see this mouthwash from Listerine since all their other products have alcohol. I bought it on a whim and was pleasantly surprised when I used it the first time. It tastes good and has NO BURN at ALL! I've now been using it for 3 weeks and find it keeps my breath very fresh. I also like that it doesn't dry my mouth out. I used to use Crest Pro-health but stopped when I realized it was staining my teeth. So far, no stains with this one!

This is a follow-up review to one I left several months ago. I was so happy that Listerine offered us this no-alcohol, low food coloring version of a great product. However, I have since read the ingredients list more closely and discovered that it includes Sodium Lauryl Sulfate (SLS) which is a carcinogenic detergent used in shampoo and soap. It is a potential health threat as-is. I cannot believe Listerine would consider our health by omitting alcohol and food coloring but still add SLS, which is even worse. I will buy this product again only if they remove the SLS. It is not necessary and it is a scientifically-studied health hazard.

I was so relieved when this product appeared in stores because I had previously had to dilute regular Listerine mouthwash (in any flavor) and it still burned my tongue. Since I use it at least twice a day, I buy many bottles at a time so that I always have some on hand.

Love the intense cleaning and freshening without the harsh burn of alcohol. Added benefit - I'm stationed in Afghanistan and can't purchase anything with alcohol in it, so this product is a "Win-Win"!

I love that Listerine now has an alcohol-free version, which I can use easily everyday. Only downside is that I feel that it doesn't last as long as Scope, which I have used since I couldn't stand the original Listerine.

Overall I would say this works well. It's definitely less intense than Listerine with alcohol though it still has a very drying effect on your mouth. If they could provide an alcohol free Listerine without the burn AND without the drying effect we'd be all set!

Let's face it, not all of us floss twice every day or brush our teeth after every meal. My dentist reminds me every 4 months that I don't do as much as I could so when I saw Listerine Zero advertised on TV, I was very interested. I use it twice a day and my dentist has noticed less tartar already. The usual deterrent of the burn from regular Listerine products is not here and I love it.

My family and I previously used the regular Listerine mouthwash regularly, but I worried about the strong alcohol content especially for my child. When I saw this new Zero option, I had to try it. It's been a couple of weeks now, and so far so good. It's not nearly as overpowering but it's still very effective. I think it might be a little bit less long-lasting because it is milder, but it still meets our needs. I love that it has zero alcohol and less food coloring (I would love to see a completely clear option), therefore it is safer for our health. Definitely switching over to this new one!
