I had originally purchased this soap for my daughter, who has very dry skin all year round. I had hoped that the shea butter would help her. although this soap didnt dry her skin out as much as other bar soaps have, it didnt add any moisture to her skin either. The soap foams up nicely and cleans really well, even for a small child who is an avid bug hunter. But I wont be buying this soap again. And it doesnt smell a thing like lavendar.

I have a hard time with dry skin, and most soaps (especially bar soaps) dry out my skin to the point of cracking and flaking. it's pretty annoying, so i was skeptical when i tried this brand. it actually worked out pretty well; coupled with a decent lotion my dry skin is almost entirely gone. it smells really yummy too.
