i take 3 a day split up each 4 hours. i like that they are easy to take unlike the large horse pills which i i cant swallow. also these dont cause stomach bloating and facial hives like calcium citrate. many people complain that calcium carbonate like these chews arent as absorbent...according to my physician not true..just take 3 instead of 2. on the down side they taste nasty. i like the chocolate truffle taste better.

If I have not gotten at least 2 servings of calcium I take one of these before going to bed. I also take magnesium with it as recommended by my doctor who strongly prefers calcium from dairy products.

This chewable calcium is my favorite. The tablets don't always break down in one's system so this, to me, is the perfect and tasty way to take this mineral.

My preference in the Caltrate Soft Chews are the vanilla flavor and they are getting harder to find. Not sure why but I'm glad I can still order them from Drugstore.com.

Diagnosed with osteopenia, I am appreciative that I can purchase Caltrate calcium chews from your website since local grocery and drug stores do not stock it--they offer their own brand. What a great alternative to taking a huge pill!! Twice a day after eating my meals, my vanilla Caltrate is my dessert.

Taking this is similar to having a candy chew. After taking tablets for many years and having no osteoporosis improvement I decided to try this. My thinking is that this type of chew will break down in my system better. We'll see when I have the next bone density test.
