Everything either didn't seem to work, or (as was the case with the Lysol I swore by to get everything sparkling clean) I would feel sick and dizzy. I have a tiny bathroom, and it would take forever to clean it because of all of the breathing breaks I needed to take. I started using other method cleaning products and loved them, so I had to give this one a try, but my expectations were still low. I was blown away! I cleaned the bathroom in no time because I could just keep going without breaks. I do think that it took a tiny bit more scrubbing than Lysol, but the way I feel now compared to the way I felt with that stuff makes a little bit more work very worth it. Everything looks clean! I did notice that drugstore.com lists thyme oil as the active ingredient and my bottle says citric acid instead, so if that matters to you, be aware that the formulation has changed. As for the smell, it's not something I'd wear as perfume, but I think it's fine. My husband and I are both allergic to some fragrances so I have to be careful when choosing products. Method cleans and disinfects while leaving the room smelling fresh. This results in a sticky, sludgy, half-dry mess that attracts dust, hair, and dirt like a magnet. Actually requires reapplication and thorough cleaning (scrubbing) after each use. They changed the fragrance to Peppermint and it kills my eyes.. too strong and stingy smell I can't even breath in this while cleaning. Also it doesn't clean so well that I have to repeat until I get all the dirt off... method, please bring back the old one! The bottle is easy to hold onto and the sprayer works well in just about any position. I leave it on the bathroom counter for on the spot use.
