I had purchased one of these in the past and loved it. Decided to purchase another. You use it for wet or dry heat. Large size makes it nice to wrap around sore knees and back. Love it.

Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
I use this heating pad a lot as I suffer from frequent kidney pain. It's the perfect size to cover my whole lower back with extra to spare. I am really petite but my man is big & tall (6'4) and he loves the size of it too. He uses it for back pain as he does a lot of physical labor. He likes it much better than the standard size we had before. As far as the auto turn off, the first few times I used it I had forgotten it would do that and just has to turn it off and then on again which is fine. But I do like the feature for nights when I go to bed with it, It turns off on its own so I don't wake up sweating. Great product!

Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
I use moist heat on my low back as I do daily stretches. This heating pad works well--it's size covers my low back/buttock area nicely and it heats evenly. The thin sponge provides sufficient moisture (my old one had a bulky pad that was too wet, so I was using a "handi-wipe" to add moisture). The switch stays "on" so all I need to do is plug it in and not have to move the switch each time I use it.

Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
Was hoping it would be larger than it is. It got warm fast and heat has different temps. which is nice but kind of heats unevenly. Overall, I guess its ok. I already had a heating pad but wanted a larger one. Really... its not much bigger.
Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
It was bigger than what I thought it would be so that made it even nicer. When my side was cramping I used and it worked great. I am going to buy another to keep at work.
Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
I love the big size of this pad and the fabric used to cover it but, the temp controller leaves much to be desired. I have used a heating pad for many early fall, winter and late spring years. I like to be able to crawl into bed and have immediately warm feet. I then use the heating pad occasionally as a very small heating blanket since a full heating blanket heats more than I need to be comfortable. The biggest problem with this pad is the fact that the temp control is a joke. Someone must have thought that this big size would be ergonomic. IT IS NOT! It's hard to move AND, it only shows a red light IF ITS ON. NO different colored lights to show different temps AND, just a slider (NO clicks) where you have to "GUESS" what temp it is going to be putting out. I have gotten used to the fact that these have to turn off every two hours for safety but, I hate this temp control! I would send it back but, that costs more.

Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
The large size of this heating pad is great for use on the back. it cover the majority of the back, heats up quickly, stays quite warm, and is pliable so you can wrap it around your body. It has an auto shut-off, which is great as well. This is a replacement and a upgrade to an older heating pad and I absolutely love it. I can't live without my heating pad for daily aches and pains relief!
Comments about Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, 1 ea:
This heating pad works nicely, and has a variety of settings. It does say it's extra large, but I wasnt' quite prepared for how big it is. No complaints -- it's just long. It would be great for one wanting to heat his/her whole back.
– Whether you have achy joints due to a medical condition or you are experiencing neck or back pain, heat therapy may help. Best of all, heat applied at the proper temperature does not produce side effects associated with certain oral pain relievers. Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5 supplies soothing heat to the areas where you need it most. Unlike some heating pads, this pad delivers your choice of dry or moist heat using the moist sponge mode. Moist heat may be ideal for achy backs and strained muscles and when you need heat that really penetrates. The pad on this model is over-sized so you can cover larger areas of your body. This comes in handy for larger areas like your back. Plus, it's spacious enough to wrap around your arms or legs.
Features
With Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5, you can choose from four different temperature settings to customize the heat to meet your needs. Some days you might want gentle warmth and other days you might feel the need for more intense heat. You can even use it to warm up the bed on a cold day before you retire for the night. The pad heats up quickly so you don't have to wait around for relief. Worried that you'll forget to turn it off? This heating pad from Sunbeam has an automatic shut-off mechanism that goes into effect after two hours. Plus, it comes with a long cord that makes it convenient to use.
Heat When You Need It
Doctors often recommend heat for achy joints and arthritis. With Sunbeam King Size Heating Pad, Model 764-5 you always have access to soothing warmth for your joints. You can even use this heating pad to deliver heat to your head when you have a headache and to ease neck stiffness and discomfort after sitting all day. Carry it with you on trips so you always have access to heat and warmth. It travels well too.
