I love the Method philosophy and their outstanding quality has continued to impress me for years. This basil dishwashing liquid is to die for - smells fantastic and works amazing. It's so concentrated that you barely have to use a drop to get an entire sink-full clean! If you use a tiny bit, you stretch your dollars way further!

I am a die hard user of Method products, and I have rarely encountered any I dislike this much. The scent was so bad and so powerful that I had to dump the entire new bottle down the drain. Basil is great for cooking and eating, but not as a scent you want stuck on your hands all day--especially when it is a perfumed scent. Save yourself the pain and get any of the other scents--I recommend Sea Minerals or Clementine the most.

After reading all the previous reviews here, I almost didn't order the Basil dish cleaner, as I expected the smell to be too strong. Perhaps they have changed the formula recently, but I was disappointed in that the Basil smell is quite delicate and light. I wish it had a much stronger scent. I use many other Method products and enjoy the clean, fresh smells, however, this one seems to be so faint as to almost be nonexistent. It works great, I just wish it smelled stronger.

I have used this product for years and love how it cleans. The bottle looks great sitting behind my sink -- has a pump dispenser so it's convenient. It smells good; is a safer choice than some liquid detergents; it is gentle on my hands and nails. Can't say enough good things about Method Dish Soap.

I love the clean basil scent, it's not too strong. The pump works very well. If you don't have your sponge in front of the spout it will shoot across your kitchen, so be warned. I am going to keep refilling this pump bottle with other dish soaps.

Great smell and works well. What more can I say? I have even reordered the item. Basil is a light odor that I cannot describe but I love it. The new dispenser for the dish liquid is so much better than the previous one. Love method products!
