This is the only shampoo on the market that effectively deals with oily scalp and dandruff. My hair is colored and a bit dry but I have a very greasy scalp. This shampoo handles both problems well. But you have to use the Head and Shoulders shampoo with the Eucalyptus not any of the other shampoos in this line. I have also found that using this shampoo daily I no longer need to use a conditioner. My hair has improved so much in the past year using this product I can hardly believe it.

I use this on a daily basis because I color my hair on a monthly basis and this has caused my scalp to become itchy (no dandruff though.) It has been a huge relief after finding this Head and Shoulders Eucalyptus shampoo. I'm not suggesting that all my itchiness has disappeared, but 90% has subsided and that is a great relief.

I used this for the first time this morning and it lathered well and tingled my scalp. I noticed that my scalp isn't as itchy as before but I know the more uses the better results. The smell isn't overpowering and it lathers really well with minimal amount.
The downside to this shampoo is that upon rinsing it out, my hair felt dry. It felt stripped. However, upon using the H&S conditioner (w/ eucalyptus), that was very moisturizing and also made my scalp tingle.
I would only use the shampoo in conjuntion with a conditioner. My hair is curly, dry and damaged so it needs all the moisture it can get.
Otherwise, I think it worked as far as the itchy scalp goes so I would recommend this along w/ the matching conditioner.

First and foremost, I would say that if you have a chronic itchy scalp you should perhaps see a dermatologist about the issue to ensure it's not something more than just a dirty or dry scalp.
I purchased this product for my husband who has a very itchy scalp along with a few other serious (previously diagnosed) skin conditions. This shampoo does help with the chronic itchiness he experiences when he uses it. It's no miracle cure. But it will help, of course depending on the reason for your itchy scalp. It's worth a try.

I purchased this shampoo and conditioner as I was having problems with itchy scalp. The first day I tried this product the Eucalyptus was really soothing, but after I dried my hair my head was still itchy. I did notice that there was a lot of build up and decided to try using only the shampoo the second time. My head still itches and now my hair is greasy and gross! Not sure which route I need to take next, but it will not be with these products.
