It works great for the oxygen reading. Not so sure about pulse. Reads Error 7 frequently. Don't know what that means since I don't know where the instructions are. Anyone know where I can get some for this specific one?

After a recent trip to the hospital because of Pulmonary Embolisms (blood clots in the lungs) preventing good oxygen exchange, my doctor recommended I start regularly monitoring my blood oxygen level. This device has been perfect for that, It uses regular AAA batteries, is easy to use, easy to read, and isn't overly sensitive to movement while taking a reading.

I needed a basic oximeter to monitor my oxygen level and pulse because of long term post-op complications (my lungs collapsed during surgery/had to be maintained on ventilator for several extra hours after surgery).
It warms up fast n gives continuous, accurate readings. The display is bright, easy to read, and reversible. It doesn't feel cheap, seems durable. The lanyard has easy detachment clip. Stylish design n nice color. It has the cutest handy pouch/case.
I can't think of any cons. I am very happy with my purchase of this oximeter! It's very much worth the price!

I use oxygen at home and if I don't I can always check my oxygen level with this product.

HUGE DISAPOINTMENT WHEN NEW UNIT IN SEALED/UNOPENED BOX THAT EVEN HAD A "PASS" STICKER ON IT WOULD NOT TURN ON. TRIED NEW BATTERIES, DOUBLE CHECKED POLARITY TRIED HOLDING ON BUTTON DOWN ETC., NOTHING WORKED. THIS WAS A REAL LET DOWN AS THE UNIT SEEMED PERFECT. RELATIVELY STURDY, COMPACT POCKET SIZE, LARGE EASY TO SEE READOUT (IF ONLY IT LIT UP). IT WOULD HAVE BEEN GREAT IF I COULD JUST EXCHANGE IT [...]2 BLOCKS AWAY BUT, NO, I HAD TO SPEND TIME EXCHANGING MULTIPLE E-MAILS TO GET A REFUND [...] TO RETURN IT. END RESULT I STILL DON'T HAVE THE ITEM I WANTED. WOULD HAVE BEEN NICE IF THEY JUST SHOT ME OUT A REPLACEMENT UNIT[...].
