I'm a repeat customer for years. I use this cream blended with full strength prescription Retin-A to both dilute & 'stretch' the Retin-A and to counteract any drying and scaling that can result from Retin-A. Whereas many creams or lotions can further irritate skin redness or irritation, this cream soothes and heals pretty much overnight. It is non-irritating around my sensitive eyes. It's not obviously moisturizing like an emollient, but restores natural moisture balance without causing breakouts.

The only thing that seems to be working for me in winter New England weather. Last winter was the first time I had experienced blistering dry skin. It was so severe that I had to be prescribed medical ointment from the derma. As the weather started getting colder this year around early October, my skin started reacting again similar to the effects of last year. I received this product as a sample and brought it as a carryon item while traveling. I was so surprised to find that it was actually working to combat the reaction on my skin I experienced last year. I now no longer have to go to the derma this winter because I found this product.

This is a good moisturizing cream, but I wouldn't buy this product again because of its smell.

I love this stuff. I find that this brand, Atopalm is a good one. The product mimics the lipids in your skin. Your skin just feels soft, without your skin feeling greasy. It's amazing how soft your skin feels and they appear to be smoother. What's great is that with consistent use of this product you won't have to use it all of the time. My skin gets dry from work and I've found that this is the best one for me. I find that the lotion was just too runny for me. I'd recommend checking out their variety of products. I used to buy Atopalm body wash. Sadly, drugstore doesn't carry that anymore. :(

Because I use a prescription Retin-A cream every night, I like a moisturizer that doesn't contain a lot of active ingredients or chemicals that may cause a reaction or limit the effectiveness of the cream. This moisturizer is perfect: it counteracts the drying effect of the Retin-A without added chemicals, fragrances, etc.

I've been using it for a long time now, and it gets me through the winter without the drying/flaking issues I've had in the past.

I need a gentle effective cream to use around my mouth area, as toothpaste irritates very much. I use it twice a day to keep that area from being red and cracked. I also use it on my face when needed, very well tolerated. Effective moisturizing.

Autumn had rolled around again, the heat was back on, and like clockwork the red eczema spots on my hands started showing up again. I am leery of using products with cortisone, and what else is out there for it? I tried everything I could think of, and the spots got larger and redder, some the size of quarters, and itched more. Then I remembered I had stashed away a free sample of Atopalm, so I tried it. Four days and the eczema was healed! I know others say it doesn't work for their eczema, but it sure does for mine. Great on rough elbows and heels too. Small amounts applied before bed are effective--that's how I use it, not as a general moisturizer. Between using Atopalm and always wearing gloves to wash dishes, I have no more probems with eczema.

I've been using this moisturizer for over a year now, and suddenly they changed the forumula to now include fragrance. Why would they do that??? Products made for sensitive skin, as this one is, are never supposed to have frangrances. I don't like it and I wish they would take it out and leave it the way it was. Plus, it's not pleasant to me, it reminds me of musk oils. Leave out the fragrances and it works wonderfully for both men and women.
