I love this little heater so much that I'm buying a 2nd one. It is very small and lightweight, but quickly heats up a small room, without making too much noise. I checked off "travel" under "best uses" because it is small and lightweight enough to stash in a carry-on bag. It's cute, too!

I freeze while showering and use a space heater in the bathroom most of the year. My previous heater lasted a very long time, and when it died I thought I'd never find as good a replacement. The Crane Ultra Compact Space Heater was an ultra, big surprise! While quite small, it heats up the bathroom in a fraction of the time it took my previous heater. Less time running, means less electricity, which means cost savings for me - yet plenty of warmth. From first use, I nicknamed this "my little dynamo"!

TI can't believe how efficiently and quickly this little heater warms up our garage/playroom. I have a larger portable heater/ac unit, but have not had to turn that one on yet, as the little one does the job.

I built a small workshop in my basement and didn't add heat or A/C. One wall of the workshop opens to the outside and has a window. I insulated the workshop well but the room temperature dips to around 59-60 degrees on cold days. I wanted a heater that was effective, fairly quiet and didn't take up a lot of space. This heat is perfect! It is small (even looks too small to be effective) and the fan is fairly quiet. But what really amazed me was how quickly my workshop warms up, even when using the heater on the LOW setting. It took less than 10 minutes for the space to warm from 62 degrees to 68 degrees. I was amazed! I absolutely love this heater. It doesn't have a thermostat so it doesn't cycle on and off at a preset temperature, but that isn't a problem for me since the room heats so quickly. I simply turn the heater off. If you need a thermostat to turn the heater off automatically this isn't for you. It does, though, have overheat protection which turns the heater off. It's a safety feature. So in summary, this heater is perfect for my needs. I don't leave it unattended while heating and after only 10-15 minutes I can turn it off. And then just turn it back on when needed.

I do wish the manufacturer would add a thermostat because that would make this heater absolutely perfect. But it's more than good enough for me.
