The capsules are 600 mg, so slightly larger than the 'normal' 500mg, but they go down very easy if you use plenty of water. I take fish oil on the advice of my doctor - but I *hate* to burp fish oil. By taking a couple of these caplets with the fish oil, I find that if I burp a little, I taste cinnamon, which is *much* preferable. It should be noted that Cassia cinnamons contain a naturally occurring substance called coumarin, which can pose toxicity risks if consumed in an excessive amount. Just limit your intake of these to a few caplets a day and you should be just fine.

I've been taking a cinnamon supplement for awhile now but I find the 1,000 mg capsules to be too much for my stomach. This dosage works much better for me.

Note: NOW Foods has very recently CHANGED this product without making it obvious to its loyal customers. This product now consists of Cassia cinnamon, not Ceylon cinnamon. Ceylon cinnamon is widely regarded to be a higher quality cinnamon for use in supplements.

Doctor suggested this to help with glucose and cholesterol problems. Works with both and helps digestion too.
Since "true" Ceylon Cinnamon was rated best to avoid side effects of other types of cinnamon was really glad to find this in a NOW Foods product. Have always liked NOW for supplements, and the discounted price is terrific.
Take multiple capsules daily and occasionally open them to put cinnamon on toast, etc. After all, it's great-tasting cinnamon too!
