I love it - calms stress quite quickly and very effectively. I took it daily (sometimes twice) recently while in a very difficult family situation that had me totally on edge for weeks and having to control high emotions.
Otherwise I don't take it, especially when working on the computer on tasks that require my full concentration. I find myself yawning and concentration waning. Would not take it before driving on a long trip. Once I figured out the difference, I valued this stuff even more. It rises to the occasion as needed. Did not notice any appetite control effects however.

I have tried a few different brands of 5-HTP over the years for family members with mood and sleep problems. For the most part, despite various doctor's recommendations, I haven't found it to be terribly effective. This brand though, really seems to help! Based on my experience, I recommend taking 1 in the morning and 2 at night. I'm sure it varies based on the person however. Great 5-HTP! Love that its vegetarian! Recommend!

This brand works just as good as Natrol, for a fraction of the price. I take it for the calming of my anxiety more so than appetite control, since I don't have any weight issues. But it still does both. They're even more uniform in color than natrol which were more two-toned. But they work the same, have the same mg of the product. I always recommend 5htp to any friends who suffer from depression or anxiety, and will continue to do so!

I was taking Natrol 5-HTP for a couple months, but it was getting rather expensive to buy it for $10 a bottle for 30 pills. (The Natrol 5-HTP is fantastic!!!) I went online and I found this product, I saw the price, & the amount of pills in one bottle. The dosage is the same as Natrol's, and I read the one review saying that this stuff is fantastic. I ordered 3 bottles. Let's just say, when I finish the 3 bottles, I won't be ordering this item again. Although it is cheaper, and you get a lot pills, it doesn't deliver the potency as Natrol. It has helped me stay pretty "chill", but other than that it doesn't curb my appetite at all. I will go back to Natrol and spend the money, cause it works.

I really like 5-HTP for mood support. This item is the best price I've found for 5-HTP, and the pill is smaller than other brands.
