I have been using Tom's of Maine Silly Strawberry toothpaste on my daughter since she's had teeth! She is now 10 years old and has never had a cavity. I was looking for a non-flouride, natural toothpaste for her that was safe if swallowed. She loves this toothpaste. I used to travel a good distance to a specialty natural food and products retailer to find this toothpaste. I was thrilled to find it at drugstore.com at an ubeatable price and with free shipping to boot. This site is my best discovery in years!

I was looking forward to using this toothpaste as I wanted a toothpaste with no bad chemicals in it. I did not realize before I bought it that it contains sodium lauryl sulfate in it, which is a disappointment and I do not plan on using it with my 1 year old.

I use this toothpaste everyday when I do my major cleaning at night. I LOVE the taste of it -- natural taste without 'sugary' aftertaste. The best thing -- it is non-abrasive -- just read an article about how abrasive most toothpastes are -- nuff said. I could be wrong about this -- but I don't see why adults can't use this too -- it's all the same. Only hope that this doesn't cause my teeth to get 'younger' so that I need braces -- been there done that one.

I use children's toothpaste because regular toothpaste is too abrasive for me. The Tom's of Maine Silly Strawberry & the Outrageous Orange Mango Children's Toothpastes taste very good.

This has always been my boys toothpaste (after toddler paste) and they still love it at 5 and 7. It cleans well and they like the taste. We've tried other brands because I do not care for the sweet strawberry breath (vs the fresh breath we get from mint pastes), but the boys do not like any other.

Ordered this for my own use and it is the worst tasting toothpaste I ever put in my mouth. It is an ugly grey color. I know others on this site recommend it, but I don't. One Mother said she had never tasted it. Give it a try, it is vile.

Not only do my kids use this product, but I use it when I am on an HCG Diet. You cannot have mint, so I use this as an alternative. I also don't use fluoride and I don't allow my kids to use it, either. Their teeth are perfectly healthy. Fluoride is totally unnecessary and most of it used in commercial tooth pastes is a toxic waste bi-product of producing aluminum. A little education goes a long way!

My three year old enjoys this toothpaste. It smells like strawberries but I have yet to taste it. It has a thicker toothpaste like texture. (not gel)I feel strongly about providing the best natural products for my child compared to the alternative.

Cinnamon and mint flavors burn my mouth, and my dentist recommended not using them. This strawberry flavor doesn't hurt and works great! I'm an adult and get plenty of fluoride elsewhere, so I appreciate the option of Tom's of Maine Non-Fluoride version.
