With our boys getting lice and the expense to treat it. I decided to do my research for preventative measures. My kids shampoo with lavender shampoo then I spray their hair (and look for signs of lice) with this 3-4 times a week. They have not has a case of lice in 2 years! Comparing the cost of treatment as oppose to preventing, I'll spend our money on the preventing.

I found this product to be very useful with the problem my granddaughter has had with lice. We would get her hair clear and then the lice would come back. While I was using lice shield the lice were gone. She was lice free for several months, and then I ran out of lice shield. Now we have lice again and again. I can no longer find the product at my local store so I will be ordering it online.

It doesn't treat lice.. it just prevents them. So I don't know how you would see if it worked or not, unless you sprayed it on someone before they came into contact with lice. I have lice for months and this product, in combination with all my other treatments, didn't change that. But the essential oils in the ingredients seem reasonable. You could also get tea tree oil, mix it with water, and spray it into your hair every day. Probably cheaper.
Spray liberally onto washed, towel dried hair. Leave on hair and let dry gently. Also suitable for use on dry hair, and directly on hats, scarves and helmets. For best results, use daily after Lice Shield Shampoo & Conditioner in 1.
