I have read that taking 5 grams (5,000 mcg) of biotin can slow down/stop hair loss when taken daily for 6 months; and I thought I would try it. I am in month 5 without any abatement of my hair loss. (sigh) I will need to see a doctor and try to determine the cause of my hair loss.

Bottom Line No, I would not recommend this to a friend

Good price for a supplement I use several times a week. Originally started using this brand/supplement over a decade ago when my doctor suggested it for hair loss. Slowed down the hair loss and kept it minimal. Worked for me as a woman, though I'm not sure it would do the same for men!

Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend
