Clif Bar is named after my father, Clifford, my childhood hero and companion throughout the Sierra Nevada mountain range.
In 1990, I lived in a garage with my dog, skis, climbing gear, bicycle and two trumpets. The inspiration to create an energy bar occurred during a day-long, 175-mile ride with my buddy Jay. We'd been gnawing on some "other" energy bars. Suddenly despite my hunger, I couldn't take another bite. That's the moment I now call "the epiphany". Two years later, after countless hours in Mom's kitchen, Clif Bar became a reality. And the mission to create a better-tasting energy bar was accomplished. Thanks, Mom!

I love this bar -- I have tried tons of other brands/flavors, and this one is definitely the best. I usually have it for breakfast, coupled with a small yogurt, but it's also great as a midday snack. Although it's touted as a nutritional bar for women, my husband likes to put one in his golf bag for a quick pick-me-up during his round. All Clif/Luna bars are good, but this one is outstanding.

I like almost all of the Clif bars but these are just not good. I would recommend you avoid this flavor but buy other Clif bar flavors because most of them are delicious.

These are yummy! I don't really feel like peanut butter and chocolate after a work out. Theses are fruity, but not so sweet. They are my favorite Clif bars but for some reason they are hard to find in stores.... Glad I found them here!!

I keep a clif bar in my bag at all times. I like to have a healthy snack available when I'm on the go and running low on energy. Clif bars are the most filling meal bar I've found but most of the flavors are too sweet for me. I love dried apricots and this bar has big chunks of them. It's very chewy and tangy. I found this flavor when I was out of town and liked the taste but couldn't find them locally - so glad drugstore.com stocks them (and at a great price, too)!

Surprisingly, this clif bar is my favorite out of all the other kinds like chocolate chip and chocolate almond fudge. I'm more of a fan of the chocolate ones, but there's something special about the apricot one. Didn't expect it to taste so yummy!
