I have a card collection and some of the print and artwork are hard to see in regular lighting. This lamp has great magnification and a bendable neck to adjust easily. I gave it to a friend who does needlepoint and knitting and they find it very useful to take with as it runs on batteries and can be used anywhere anytime!I bought a similar lamp from another company and used it twice and the bulb burnt out and I cannot find a replacement bulb at any major store! I will reccomend this lamp as opposed to others on the market for similar price.
I gave this as a gift to someone who does needlepoint and craft projects.They love that it can be plugged in for tabletop use or install batteries and take where ever you want.
