I love patchouli and that is why I bought this soap. I like that the scent lingers but is not overwhelming, but if you hate patchouli, you probably won't like this soap. The bar itself is a soft lavender color and a pretty oval shape. I haven't had it long, so I can't say how long-lasting it will be. So far with only a few uses the lettering is barely visible, and it still lathers nicely. I don't know how well it would do if it sat in water for any length of time. Overall, I'm very happy with it and ordered another bar.

Love the smell of this soap, and it cleans nicely. Only slight negative is that it can can be a little irritating to areas of delicate skin .

This is my husband's favorite bar soap - he's a true patchouli fan! He loves it! I find it to be a very pleasant scent and to provide a great lather. We're both big fans of Grandpa's soaps and would encourage anyone to give them a try.

Great product at a great price! It's not as moisturizing as the other more expensive brands but it smells great, cleans great and doesn't melt away in the shower as quickly as the other brands.

Smells awesome...good patchouli smell :) Doesn't dry you out and the smell lasts throughout the day.

I love the scent and it lasts. Doesn't leave an oily film in my shower, but leaves my skins soft and moisturized. Love this soap and the only one I want to use.

I'd looked everywhere for a soap with this fragrance and was never able to find it. Finally did, and ordered it. I love it as much as I knew I would. The aloe and the fragrance are both pluses! Only drawback was the shipping cost. Added together with the bar of soap made it pretty expensive. But, I love the soap!
