by MrsJaiDiva[Verified Buyer] in New York on 10/9/09
Pros: Easy To Swallow, Easy on Stomach, Effective, Simple To Take
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious
Best Uses: Daily Use, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
This prenatal comes packed with Almost everything you will need to start and support a healthy pregnancy. The vitamins are very easy to swallow, and I never feel like I'm forcing down horse pills. I take them at night before bed, along with Calcium+Vitamin D, and Omega 3-6-9. That way I don't feel any stomach upset, and I wake up feeling great!

by Cynthia[Verified Reviewer] in Manchester, NH on 6/15/09
Pros: Easy To Swallow
Cons: Upsets Stomach
Describe Yourself: First Time User, Health Conscious
Best Uses: Women
Bottom Line: not recommended
When I found out I was pregnant, I took two pills at the same time and threw up about 10 minutes later. I tried to take the pills about 6 hours apart with meals, but found 1) I would forget to take the second pill 2) I was still nauseated and threw up I have tried 2 other types of prenatal vitamins in the past and neither made me sick like these did. Although the capsules were very easy to swallow I will not buy these pills again because of the nausea.

Cons: Hard To Swallow
Describe Yourself: First Time User

I got sick immediately after taking these vitamins. I decided to try these because the other reviews said that they were easy to swallow. I took these with a meal and still had problems. I'm switching back to my previous brand.
Twinlab Pre-Natal Care, Capsules rates 4 out of 5 stars, from 22 customer reviews.Right for me
by New preggers lady[Verified Reviewer] in Northern VA on 4/6/09
Pros: Easy To Swallow
Describe Yourself: First Time User
Best Uses: Supplement A Meal
Bottom Line: recommended
This is the right pre-natal vitamin for me because I can actually swallow it. I am terrible when it comes to swallowing pills and I can usually get these down on the first try. I found out why they were recommended to be eaten with a meal one day when I was waiting for the train and looking around in a panic for where I could possibly up-chuck. I have no problems when I do take them with a meal. Seems to have all the stuff you need.
Twinlab Pre-Natal Care, Capsules rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 22 customer reviews.Easy to Take
by KRAH[Verified Buyer] in Chicago, IL on 4/4/09
Pros: Effective, Simple To Take
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious
Best Uses: Daily Use, Short-Term Use, Women
Bottom Line: recommended
I am not pregnant, but take this anyway per advise from my health care provider. I cannot take regular vitamins--they make me nauseous, but these really don't. They are different because the vitamin is in a powder form within a capsule. I recommend.
Twinlab Pre-Natal Care, Capsules rates 1 out of 5 stars, from 22 customer reviews.Product was open when I received it....
by Hopeful Mother to Be[Verified Reviewer] in Chicago, IL on 4/3/09
Cons: Safety seal was broken
Describe Yourself: First Time User, Health Conscious
Bottom Line: not recommended
I received this product and the safety seal was open. I called TwinLabs and they told me, I would be fine and the vitamins would be safe to take. I was so disappointed. I am trying to become pregnant and don't want to chance it when it comes to my childs or my health. I was impressed when I called Drugstore.com and told them of my concerns. They instructed me to throw the vitamins away immediately and they refunded my money for them. I am really happy to know that they care about my wellbeing and do not want to leave anything to chance.

by Euharlee[Verified Buyer] in Ga on 3/12/09
Pros: Effective
Cons: Hard To Swallow
Describe Yourself: Health Conscious
Best Uses: Daily Use, Supplement A Meal, Women

They are pretty big, and you have to take 2 at a time, but they seem to keep me regular even though I'm prego and the don't make me sick. I take them after a meal, of course.
Twinlab Pre-Natal Care, Capsules rates 5 out of 5 stars, from 22 customer reviews.Gentle on stomach
by JackieJO[Verified Buyer] in Brooklyn, NY on 11/10/08
Pros: Good Value, High Quality
Bottom Line: recommended
Vitamins can make me feel nauseated and this vitamin does not. I do like it. However one downside is this multiple does not contain potassium, for whatever unknownd reason, and if you are pregnant you need potassium to avoid leg cramps. I was getting terrible charley horse leg cramps in the night which are not uncommon with pregnancy, so I had to buy a separate additional potassium supplement. Potassium is also good for the heart and to stabilize blood sugar. I just don't know why it's not included in this multiple.
