I'd used the similar Aveeno product (Skin Brightening Scrub) that contained the synthetic polymer microbeads and was satisfied until I read an article describing the terrible effects of introducing these microbeads into the environment. I switched to this product and am very satisfied. It works every bit as well as the Skin Brightening Scrub without introducing harmful synthetic polymer beads into the environment.

I use this face wash every morning and before bed, and I love it! My skin is pretty sensitive and is not irritated by this product. It's super gentle and not the best for serious exfoliating, so if that's what you're looking for, you might want a different product.

This is the last time i will be buying Aveeno products. I bought this because i needed a new scrub and the reviews were really good.. now i wish i never listened to the reviews. First off this is not a scrub it is an exfoliating face wash that doesn't lather and it did nothing as far as exfoliating. Second it made me break out in the first few days and left my skin oily and over sensitive which i didn't have before. I am going to pass this along to someone who likes Aveeno but i will never purchase or recommend this to anyone.

I have horrible skin from acne and just bad texture, but this wash smells so great and is so gentle! I just wanted to keep washing my face! And best part it didn't leave the tight, irritating feeling, it was smooth, soft, and hydrated! Of course everyone's skins different but I guess I got lucky with this one!

I use this scrub every morning and night. The smell is clean and not overpowering. The scrubbing beads are tiny enough to effectively slough away dead skin cells without leaving your face looking and feeling raw. My one gripe about this cleanser is that it dries out parts of my skin. I have a very oily t-zone and the cleanser actually balances out this area very nicely, but the drier parts of my skin, i.e. the corners of my nose and lips, become ridiculously dry after washing my face. It got to the point where my moisturizer couldn't cut it anymore. I love how this scrub doesn't break me out, but maybe I should invest in a more heavier moisturizer or just get another cleanser.
