I have been using this mascara for years, and I love it. It makes my lashes really long and thick, does not smudge, lasts all day, and washes off easily with soap and water. I recently tried it in a different shade (carbon black), and it was like a totally different formula. It did nothing for my lashes, left black rings under my eyes, and was really hard to wash off. I love it in regular black though!

I have used L'Oreal mascara for over 40 years. This one has a cheap little plastic wand. Hate it!

This mascara separates each lash and makes them very pretty and natural looking.

When I apply this mascara, it looks fantastic, but it doesn't take very long to leave flakes all over my face. Won't buy again.

I do like this mascara, but I found the effects to be comparable to L'Oreal's Voluminous Naturelle line of mascara. The 2nd one is, typically, cheaper. So, the decision would be up to you. Both are great mascaras.

Leaves black flakes under my eyes throughout the day. I have long lashes to begin with so I was just looking for something to define each lash and give volume. What this mascara does is takes 2 or more lashes and clumps them into 1 lash. That's not a "million" lashes, that's many less than I started with :(

I'm going back to Bare Minerals flawless definition.
