I know there are mixed reviews about this product but it worked for me. I've gone through an entire bottle and I'm going to buy another one. My hair naturally turns blonde in the sun but I needed a little help to speed up the process without actually being in the sun.

My hair did not turn orange or anything unpleasant like that. It is a little drying but nothing a little conditioner can't help.

I use this product to cover my roots and extend the time between highlights. I have dirty blonde hair and get light blonde highlights every 3 to 4 months. I used to just tolerate my roots and get really creative with headbands and updos, but now, I've found this wonderful life-saver! I spray 3-5 sprays around my crown the night before I'm going to wash my hair (I wash every other day). Then I gently comb it through, put my hair in a bun and go to bed. After two or three applications, the roots are gone!
I would definitely recommend patience when using this. If you use it over a few days, you'll get great color and little damage. i've never used heat with this product, as I've been afraid of over-lightening.
One last thing, the smell is a little weird. Like chamomile covered chemicals. It's not completely offensive, just strange.

Basically dissolved my hair, but what was left was lighter, if not oranger. I was naive to expect any spray containing hydrogen peroxide to yield better results.

This product will literally destroy your hair. My hair was completely healthy and thick. I used this product less frequently than even recommended on the bottle and the top 1/4 inch of thickness of my hair became fried and broke off.

My stylist was in shock. My hair is fairly light naturally and I just wanted to extend the time before I had to get highlights. I did not change anything else about my routine or products; it was entirely this product that caused the damage.

It was not immediately obvious, it worsened over time, including continuing to break and become frayed after I stopped use, because the damage was that severe.

Do not risk your healthy hair to this. I have had to use repair shampoo and conditioner and a thick leave-in conditioner every day just to make the hair minimally presentable. Even with this, it is frizzy and "crunchy." I don't know how long it will take the damage to grow out. Most of it is just breaking off.

I have light/medium brown hair with dark blonde highlights and to be honest, I thought there was no way this product was going to turn out so well! I used to product to cover up my roots. It didn't turn out brassy or unnatural looking. I saw obvious results in only 3 days (just as the box states). You will probably not see results in one, and that is what I love. You control where you spray it and it's not so powerful that if you overspray one part you will regret it later. This stuff is very forgiving and I highly reccomend using a blow drying and a straightener/curling iron. My blow drying lightens it some but the straightener works the real magic. Use this if you want a subtle look. I also love it so people aren't shocked the next day by a completely different color on your hair!

I started using this a year ago to save money in between highlight appointments and it works so well my stylist still hasn't colored my hair. When my roots come in I spray them with this product and then comb it through and blowdry. It is easy to use and saves me a lot of money.

Worked great! I used it just on my obvious roots and blew dry my hair. After just 3 uses over a week, my highlights and roots looked great! The hydrogen peroxide smell isn't appealing, but I also use a leave in conditioner with this product that kills the odor and helps minimize damage. Because my roots are very oily, I do not see any breakage problems. Love this product!

I died my hair once about a year ago. However, I didn't want to go get it re-died every time my roots started to come through. I have been a user of John Frieda Sheer Blonde products for a long time and love them, so when I saw the Multi-Pack offer on drugstore.com, I basically got the lightening spray for free! It is a must have product for anyone who dies their hair. One year later and my hair color still matches from root to tip! Absolutely love this product!
