I also checked my cholesterol at one of those walk in labs before and after taking this supplement. It did not raise HDL ( in fact HDL went down slightly after 6 weeks of weight loss and exercise and this supplement) and did not lower LDL more than 10-15% which is what I might have expected with just my weight loss over this time. I lost more weight in the couple weeks before starting this supplement than after. I don't blame the drug for that,as weight loss per se is expected to taper off with any plan but the point is the weight loss did not accelerate but decreased. No measurable improvement in outcome compared to expected. I bought this based on the Dr Oz recommendation as so many have. This drug is completely ineffective OR they changed the formula after it became popular and was difficult to obtain. Don't waste your money. I take it 2-3 times per day. When I started taking it, I was well into the pre-diabetic range and the article said this product would help with cholesterol and weight loss. In the two years, my weight has come down almost 40 pounds. My cholesterol dropped 45 points and I am no longer in the pre-diabetic range, although I have also supplemented with cinnamon. I do watch what I eat, and I walk when I can. I did not take this product as a magic bullet. I wanted to see if it would lower my cholesterol. It did. However, I was pleasantly surprised to see that I lost about 2 lbs a month while taking it. I would highly recommend this product but not the other formulations out there. Dr. Oz said this product was the purest one. Bottom Line Yes, I would recommend this to a friend Was this review helpful? After 8 mo. my dr was surprised to see that it had dropped to 213! I watch my diet and exercise but needed more to control my cholesterol. I'll keep taking this because it works for me. I started taking this product along with a healthy diet and exercise and burned the rest of it off. I didn't loose any additional weight until the third bottle.
