This filter is not the right one for the squeeze bottle I have, so I had to return it. The skinny white filter fit the squeeze bottle I bought last year that disappeared over the summer. The new sport bottle requires a black sided filter, apparently it comes in a black box?

I use the product everyday at work where the water quality is marginal for taste and coloration. Brita water filtration system is very effective and allows me to consume the water with greatly improved taste and color. I use the system during workout sessions at the gym, with the closeable top it's great for not spilling when knocked over in the gym or in my bag. I wish the container were larger so that I didn't have to fill it so frequently. Squeezing the bottle to get the water out can be frustrating as it doesn't completely empty. It would be helpful if the water flowed more easily instead of having to squeeze the container. Cost for filters ([$] for two) is a bit pricey when you have to change them as much as I do.

My daughter is a college student and loves this Brita Bottle. She hates having to buy water bottles and get rid of all that plastic. With tap water, she is ready to go and the water tastes great.

I have very hard water that is extremely high in iron. I have a Brita Pitcher but my husband uses it for the coffee maker so we can't keep the water cold. I got this so I could add ice to my water and enjoy it cold and it works as well as the pitcher. Nothing I have used completely gets rid of the taste of my water, but Brita products work the best!

Water bottle leaks when squeezed - waste of money! I bought two set of filters at purchase and bottle is useless - so what do I do now with the filters?
Unscrew cap and insert filter. Fill bottle with tap water. Screw cap with filter onto bottle and pull up on spout to open. Squeeze 1 full bottle of water through filter before use to remove black carbon dust. Refill water filter bottle and enjoy. Replace water filter every 2 months or 40 gallons. Filter replacement is essential for water filter bottle to perform as represented. Substances reduced may not be in all users' water.
