I use most products from the Babo line, but this one rather than smelling like natural Rosemary just smells like menthol. I didn't find it pleasant to use and just plan on using my own essential oils to repel lice.
This Repel Shampoo is the best thing ever! Not only is it chemical free but it has so many preventative uses! I have 2 things to share!
1. I have my own organic garden & this year we have had alot of ticks, well, yes, I did get a bite & a lovely tick in my scalp, also now being tested for Lyme disease, but after that terrible incident, I grabbed this shampoo that was given to me as gift & decided to use it before I work outside, and not one tick has been found on me since, they were found on clothes but not the scalp! I was surprised at how shiny & bouncy it made my hair too..smells good also!
2. My Son brought over his dog who was sprayed by a skunk after he did 10 baths in peroxide/baking soda/dish detergent & then doused him in vinegar baths & tomato soup, the dog still smelled horrible & skunky, so he brought him to Mom..and yes, I grabbed the Repel Shampoo due to the rosemary & tea tree oil in it..we bathed the dog 5x's in 5hours, lathering him up w/this shampoo & by the last shampoo, the skunky smell diminished! My son was amazed & said everyone should know about this great shampoo since it has no chemicals & didn't burn his dogs eyes or skin & also we noitced the flies kept off his back when outside, he repelled the flies even! This shampoo is great stuff..I recommend you keep it in your household as a preventative measure or if you have a dog!
I have three children and have been using this product for about a year now. There were several students in my kid's class last year that had lice, yet non of my kids came home with it. (which is my worst nightmare) I love that this product can repel the lice without any harsh chemicals. The smell of this is so great too, it's so fresh smelling!
I have 5 children. At camp and at school, my children never came home with lice during the many outbreaks. I used the shampoo and the spray conditioner together. My boys even like the scent!
This product saved us all summer long with all the lice outbreaks at my children's camps. it smells great for being a repellant and you can use daily. it also left my children's hair so soft and healthy looking. love it!
During a lice outbreak at school or camp, shampoo daily. Lather in hair and leave 3-5 minutes (or as long as they will let you!). Rinse thoroughly. Follow with Lice Repel Conditioning Spray. Great for the entire family to use.
