My 18-month-old grandson likes these cheese-veggie puffs. He seems to think they are tasty, and he will eat them readily as a snack. They dissolve easily, so I'm not worried about the possibility he will choke on them. They are a good size for him to easily grasp - not tiny like some of the little stars and dried yogurt drops. They are about half the size of a cheese puff and kind of light green. The ingredient "sea salt" is way down the list, so I'm happy that this isn't a super-salty snack. That makes it even healthier for him. It's a sneaky way to give him more vegetables!

Straight up, these are gross. I bought them because of the kale and broccoli being advertised as main ingredients, and it's so important to get your baby started on greens early. Not to mention it's also important to get your child started on complex flavors early, to develop a well rounded palate and avoid creating a picky eater. My little one is also crazy bananas about cheese, so I thought, "Hey, cheese and greens? What could go wrong?"
These are seriously disgust-o. I try all of my baby's food (yes, even veggie and fruit purees) before I give them to her, because I want to make sure everything is okay before I feed it to her. They are so bland. I find it interesting that someone mentions tasting the kale in the puffs, because all I could taste is baked corn. They have the consistency of a puffy Cheeto, but zero flavor whatsoever. There isn't anything delicious about them, and I can't personally taste the cheese or greens.
As I suspected, my baby hates them. At this point, she won't even attempt to eat them anymore. She'd rather entertain herself by crunching them up between her little baby fingers and making a mess, so at least we can find some use for them. Who knows, maybe I got a bad batch. But I'd rather not try buying these again.
However, I do love Happy Family Brands! So I'll just buy some other snacks made by them.

I'm so glad I discovered these Happy Family snacks as a great alternative to processed snacks. I love that I can introduce my 2 year old to kale so he can get used to the taste. The container is a great size to get a few snacks out of them. It's very portable as well. I will never buy goldfish or cheetos again!
Comments about Happy Munchies Baked Organic Cheese & Veggie Snack, Broccoli, Kale & Cheddar Cheese, 1.63 oz:
These munchies are so tasty! We love them for many reasons, including the added choline, which I know is good for brain development. My son can pick these up and self feed and the texture is perfect for easy dissolving. Broccoli, kale and cheddar cheese combo is a big hit. I like that they are green, and so that reinforces the goodness of eating foods with color. Great for on the go snacking, and of course organic goodness!
