At first I thought these were too harsh for my oily/acne-prone/ sensitive skin. They were a little irritating and drying. Plus, I don't trust any products that contain alcohol (one of the worst ingredients you can put on your face.) But, I realized I was using the cleansing pads incorrectly. I only use them at night now, once or twice a week to remove excessive oil, dirt, and make-up residue. I had overlooked that the directions said to *rinse with cool water* when you're finished. That made all the difference in the world. This is a great product to give you that sqeeky-clean feeling. They are great on camping trips and when traveling when you don't have access to water. The natural oils in this product are known for their anti-bacterial properties. The smell of Tea Tree is a little overwhelming at first but you get used to it.

I have very oily, moderately acne-prone skin. It also tends toward redness and sensitivity. I have been using these pads once a day for several weeks now. They have reduced my acne and softened the texture of my skin. The pads have a rough, exfoliating texture. I do avoid my cheeks, which are prone to redness and dryness. The only drawback for me is that the smell is overwhelmingly powerful at first.

I have combo skin; oily on forehead and normal on the rest. This really balances that out. Very refreshing! I use this every night and sometimes in the morning as well.

This product is GREAT for stinky feet! My husband has always had stinky feet. He has been using Tea Tree oil for years to combat this problem. These facial pads are extremely easy to use and they work GREAT! Just a swipe when he gets out of the shower and voila! No stinky feet all day! If he forgets in the am, then just a swipe in the eve gets rid of the stink pronto! We've even given them to my nephew who is 11 and is always running around in stinky sneakers and they have made a world of difference!!

Anyone who has ever used Tea Tree Oil knows it has a strong scent. If you haven't then you now know! This product works great and is great for exfoliation. You are supposed to RINSE your face after applying so the smell shouldn't be that bothersome. This product has helped me with my acne as it keeps your skin's oils in check. I only use it every other day and have had no irritation. Again iti is meant as an exfolient that is why the pads are rough on one side and not so rough on the other.

I was looking for a cleansing pad to refresh my oily face in Summer afternoons. After using one pad I found the smell extremely strong (stingingly so) and the pad itself very abrasive - I had to pad it on my skin instead of wiping it on. Won't buy again.

I use the pads every night before bed, in the morning after washing with thoroughly clean face wash, and occasionally during the day. The smell is strong, but it dissipates quickly. I have very sensistive skin, and it doesn't cause any problems for me.

This product really soothed my skin, particularly a fine rash which had developed a few months ago and dermatology was at a loss of how to treat. Within 4 weeks, the rash is gone and my skin is great -- can't advocate that this can treat a rash, but it certainly solved a problem I had been dealing with for some time. It leaves my skin not feeling dry and in good condition.

I love all of Deset Essences products but I really like this one! It cleans your face thoroughly but smells a little bad....It keeps the acne at bay though!! Tea Tree oil has been used for acne for YEARS in Australia!
