I needed a simple On/Off Coffee Pot with Pause and Pour. This machine is great, just what I was looking for. The carafe is designed so you can pour coffee without getting it all over the counter top.

I have been using this coffee pot for years. It's easy to clean & seems to last longer than expensive ones. I will continue to buy this brand & hope the company keeps making it. Could only find it on Drugstore.Com. They carry a lot of Products that are hard to find. Will use them again!

I have only Proctor-Silex coffeemakers, yes, plural. In my house there are caffeinated and decaffeinated coffee drinkers and we drink coffee 24/7/365. This specific coffeemaker is without equal; they work for years literally. I was surprised to see that the price has gone up but then I realize it is over 3 years that I last needed to buy a coffeemaker. Trust me, it is worth every penny.

It is easy to use, easy to fill, keeps the coffee nice and hot and easy to clean.

This was an inexpensive replacement for a hand-me-down Mr. Coffee. The simplified manufacturing is noticeable. The spout is connected to the lid, and the lid has to be snapped down in order to seal the grounds/water area. It gives an impression of flimsiness. I expect the machine to break someone has difficulty getting the lid snapped down and uses greater force.

However, the brewing quality, time, and holding temperature are all good. The carafe is a standard glass carafe, just as sturdy as the old coffeemaker's carafe. This machine has a simple on/off switch. It is very basic.
