Use this daily for prevently further macular degeneration. Like the fact that it is a once a day thing. Easy to remember. It is sometimes hard to find this - more often the twice or three times a day dosage is available.

I am in a "High Risk" category of the "wet" age related macular degeneration (I had a DNA test for this). I have my eyes scanned every three months and my doctor tracks all changes. When I started using this product my doctor noticed a slight decrease of particles near the surface of the macular. Now after one full year of daily use my doctor noted that almost all particles have been reduced in quantity and size. He is very pleased and said to continue with taking this treatment (ICaps with Lutein and Omega-3).

When these break open, it is a mess they are bright orange inside??? I only took a few they just seemed strange. They are not a softgel in my opinion, I take other softgels. One was broken when I opened the bottle. I had to wipe off the orange mess from the other pills. It was NOT shipping damage. Then others started to break in my pill case. I was looking for something with Lutein in it, I will stick with a wellknown brand next time. These went in the garbage.
