First of all, I am a huge hippie and I love my products to be Paraben, Talc and other chemicals free. The fact that this blush looked goregous and it was paraben and talc free made my day. However, it should not be used for an everyday look. It is very sparkly and unless you are me (who loves sparkly things) it is not a good idea to walk around during the day with sparkly cheeks. I mean you can only really see the super sparkle in sunlight places and warm light, not harsh white light. I love using this to go out with, and the first use came with tons of sparkle (there is a sheer sparkly coating on top of the blush) then the sparkle dies down once you get deeper into the palette.

I am an older lady so I was not impressed with the "pearl" effect. Otherwise, the color was nice and not too dark. I would recommend this to a younger friend.

The product is very pearly and feels good on the skin. The compact is nice with it's own brush and mirror. It tends to be a little too bright pink and the pearl sheen is very light reflective. During the day it is just too bright for me, but for evening or low light it is great. Very smooth and soft feel.
Using a soft powder brush, sweep over entire palette to evenly blend colors. Tap excess powder from brush before applying. Brush over cheekbones to define and brighten or apply right below cheekbones for a more defined and dramatic look.
