I have naturally wavy hair, so this product really enhances my waves. I took this on my trip to Mexico because I refused to use a blow dryer and flat iron. I needed a product that was simple and easy to use. After I showered I used a leave-in moisture conditioner then I applied the sea spray. I used a generous amount because I have a lot of hair. I air dried it. By the end of the night I had loose beachy waves.

It didn't leave my hair sticky and it also did not dry it out. Use a good conditioner prior to using the sea salt spray. I think that is what helped my hair from drying out.

I'm unsure how this words on straight, fine fair. It works amazing on natural wavy hair though.

I don't know if was just the one I ordered but it smelled like play dough in my hair. I really wish it smelled like coconut like most stated. Worked well just couldn't get past the scent considering it lingers in your hair.. Sadly disappointed and gave it to a friend.

I'm in my 40's and my hair has started to thin in the back. Using gel or other products weigh down my hair and emphasize my thin (balding) area. I am also allergic to hair spray so it is not an option. Mother's Beach Babe has been an awesome solution. I spray it on and run my fingers through my hair to style it and then blow dry it or let it dry naturally, depending on how hurried I am. It doesn't hold as well as hair spray but if I style it, dry it and lightly spray it, it holds just fine and makes my hair look much thicker. Consider this a great side effect.

This is a fun product to use. It really makes your hair feel like you've been at the beach. I grew up at the beach, so I would know! I have very fine and thin hair... so using this product gives me texture, while making my hair feel more full. The smell is great too! Has a slight coconut scent, or something similar to a sunscreen smell. It's an attractive and fun scent. I have used this product with damp hair and dry hair. You will get more texture if you use with dry hair. Warning: Put a towel down on the floor before you start spraying your hair... it left my bathroom floor slippery! Overall, it's a nice and fun product I will use all summer long!

The only other salt spray I've used is B&B Surf Spray. It's pricey though and I don't care for the fragrance.

NYM's spray smells nice, isn't heavy, but strangely does the exact opposite for my hair. It makes my hair very smooth and shiny, does away with any fly-aways. I don't get any texture or body that I'd hoped for.

I'll still use it, but not for what the product is intended for.

I never take the time to leave reviews, but I had to for this product.

My hair is very thin and pin straight, this gives it bounce and body... without even blow drying. It lasts all day and smells amazing!!
