Almost the perfect shampoo. It lathered well and smelled so fresh and neutral. It's the best smelling shampoo I've ever used (appley). Unfortunately, it coats the hair in a substance that looks white on a hairbrush. It wouldn't have mattered, but I broke out in a rash the first heat wave we had this spring (scalp, neck and chest). I was about ten days into using the shampoo... If you buy this shampoo, at least shampoo and rinse your hair before washing your face and the rest of your body. I'll be going back to Garnier Daily Care; which is a decent shampoo, but it doesn't smell as good as this one or make your hair look quite as nice.

This product suprised me in how nice my hair felt after I used it. I felt that it really cleaned my hair without making it dry and unmangable. I really enjoy this shampoo.

I bought this product to be friendlier to the environment, but I'm only being cruel to my hair. After using this product briefly at home, I quickly moved it to my gym bag because it leaves my hair feeling greasy and unclean. (But it's going from there to the garbage tonight!)There is definitely a build-up! I was happy to read that I wasn't the only one with this issue, but am befuddled by the rave reviews. I guess you either love it or hate it. I, too, will be going back to my usual brand, even though it is more expensive. I'm incredibly disappointed in the performance of this product!

This shampoo does not flatten the hair. It gives it body without fuzziness. It leaves it soft and manageable.

I bought this shampoo because I have an oily scalp and decided to use a clarifying shampoo everyday. This was an excellent choice because it cleanses well but doesn't dry out your hair. Plus it has a nice clean smell, like berries. It is a thin formula but has a nice lather. So bottom line: it's a perfect everyday shampoo. I would recommend this to anyone who has an oily scalp but also dry ends.

Was excited to try this product because the smell is so nice... BUT it leaves my hair completely COATED in residue, no matter how well I rinse. my hair not only looked as if it had not been washed at all, but that it hadn't been washed in weeks. I have given this product a try several times with the same result. Want an organic product that cleans better than this shampoo? try dirt.

I've been looking for a green, safe product for the family but many organic shampoos/conditioners are pricey. This one is great, and can be purchased pretty much anywhere. It's got very subtle scent which I like too. Love it.

My hair was starting to look as if I was going bald right in the middle above my forehead. Really nasty. I started using this shampoo a few months ago. While it hasn't made any new hair grow, it has relieved my hair of all old residues. It's beautiful again, and by washing daily, my hairline looks fuller too. I recommend the shampoo, but don't recommend the conditioner that goes with it. Stay away from the conditioner. All the things I hated about my hair came back as soon as I added the conditioner. So, I will stay with the shampoo only.

Thought the biodegradable thing was cool. Surprised by how well the product actually works. I really love this shampoo. Smells great, good lather and doesn't weigh my hair down like the other reviewer. Maybe it depends on your hair type. I get a lot of compliments on how shiny my hair is too :) Try it,

This shampoo leaves a residue. I can't use it every day, or my hair looks like I haven't washed it in days. It also makes my typically soft hair feel really greasy and knotty. It is not as bad as the conditioner though - do not buy the conditioner! I also do not like that this shampoo-while being better for the environment - is not cruelty free. I will stick with my organic shampoo, even though it is more expensive.
