As a curly-haired girl, I need a gel that will let my curls "clump" so that I can get nice ringlets. This gel ain't it. It did nothing to define my curls. I have a frizzy mess that even Chewbacca would point and laugh at.

This gel is also very crunchy. It took a lot of styling cream to scrunch the hardness out of my hair.

I've used maybe 1/10th of the product in the bottle and I am just going to throw it out.

Use a dab on each strand while rolling on curlers... this is the intended use... it is a SETTING gel, to add body, wave, or curl (depends on size of roller). If you want very little curl, just a flip...use LARGE rollers.

It has to be completely dry before you attempt to brush, or comb hair. If not dry, it will be sticky, and you wont have intended body, or curl.I let mine AIR-dry, You can dry with bonnet dryer, or diffuser. if you use heat... eventually heat will wreck your hair. This product does NOT make hair dry, dull, or brittle (heat does).

It has NO noticeable scent after it's dry. Hair feels clean and easy to style. finish with a little hair spray, if it is windy, or damp outside.
Hair feels clean, has gloss (not like shellac...like clean hair).

My hair is very straight (even w/ perm- can barely curl it). This gel holds shape for 1-3 days ( on last day... much less body, so... wash, and do it again :-) Am happy with product. After a bad perm- it can help control frizz- stretch gelled hair on OJ-can sized rollers.

Great at defining my curls. Lightweight and non-greasy. I scrunch it in to soaking wet hair and then diffuse. My hair drys soft with defined bouncy curls.

This is a great gel for encouraging natural curl, controlling frizz, and creating shiny, smooth hair. I use it after leave-in conditioner and/or smoothing cream, and it's not heavy or too thick. Really nice for dry, thick, curly hair, especially if you prefer natural products.

I washed and used the product right before leaving for errand running....I had to be at the bank before they closed, so I didn't have time to wash and restyle right then. I hated to even step out of the house, the way my hair looked. My hair always looks shiny and moves...but not this time. I did my errands, and washed and restyled as soon as I got back home. I thank God I didn't have to be gone more than an hour with my hair in that sticky, unmovable, drab condition. I bought the product becuase it was highly touted as a "have to have" from O magazine. Bad recommendation!!!

I have super fine short hair and was looking for a natural product to use while I'm pregnant. I've been using this gel for 8 months (almost due!) and I love it. It does a good job of giving my fine hair some body as I blow-dry it. I did not find it to be sticky or heavy. I use it before styling.

I used to use the original Garnier Fructis Body Boost Gel, which gave my hair a nice body and volume. I don't color treat or process, curl, or do anything but blow-dry my hair. Then they stopped making the product and made this "all natural" junk which is worthless. It does absolutely nothing. What is the point? I tried about six other products to duplicate the great results I used to get with Garnier's Body Boost gel. The only one was Aussie's Volumizing Gel. Garnier ruined their product line with this new tree-sap junk. So sad.
