I was looking for a product that would keep my hair in place without looking, or feeling all gelled up. This is a very clean paste that once it's in your hair is completely undetectable. It not a super strong hold (use other products for that), but it does what I wanted it to do. To the person who gave it one-star, this obviously wasn't the type of product you were looking for, but it's definitely not a one-star product.

I have healthy hair with just a little bit of natural curl to it. Just went from a very long layerd style to a very short layerd style. I tried different sprays, gels, etc. and they all left my hair greasy so that I had to wash it every day. When I had long hair I only had to wash it every 3rd day. With this paste my hair looks and feels clean and natural and doesn't get stiff or sticky, even after a couple days. I can reapply the product on consecutive days if needed without needing to shampoo but most days I just get up and fluff my hair with my fingers and I'm done! The package says "24-hour definition". I think that is accurate. The key word here is definition. If you are looking for something to spike your hair with this is not it. The package also says "strong" hold but I wouldn't go so far as to rate is that high. Maybe "moderate" would be more accurate. This product is 99% natural and it does exactly what I wanted it to do so kudos from me.

I bought this to replace Enjoy's pomade but I'm very disappointed. I need to apply once after the shower and again later in the day.
I don't recommend this product. I'll keep looking for a better product.
