I have long, thick hair that takes ages to dry after washing, so I've been searching for a reliable dry shampoo to see me through when I realize too late that my hair's gone limp at the roots but there's no time to shower. I tried three different brands I wasn't completely satisfied with before coming across this on sale: Herbal Essences smelled terrible and was ineffective to boot; Oscar Blandi (spray, not powder) worked fine, but needed a heavy application and so wasn't very cost-effective; Batiste was perfect for light touch-ups, but left the dreaded white residue in my dark hair if overused, and it could only do so much for a particularly flat/greasy hair day. Got 2b can be applied lightly or liberally as needed, and only takes a few seconds to absorb. After that, it only takes a slight tousle to see and feel a clear difference in my hair, which looks bouncier at the roots and seems fresher to the touch. It leaves no residue, and the effects last for hours. It's a shame about the strong, almost antiseptic scent of the spray, but the smell doesn't linger on the hair too long and it's worth putting up with for a product that actually works. Maybe there's a dry shampoo somewhere that works as well, costs the same, and smells better, but I have no problem sticking with this for a good long time.

I could not take the strong horrible smell. I felt like I was spraying "Pledge" on my hair. I keep the can around in case I run out of another brand and have an emergency. But I do not enjoy using it.

I have dark brown hair and my favorite dry shampoo is the Salon Grafix in Brunette. However the "brunette-ness" can come off on fingers because I have a tendency to mindlessly run my fingers through my hair.

So, on days when I'm not super greasy and don't want brown fingers, this one by Got2b is my other favorite. Considering it sprays on the usual white, it's remarkably easy to brush out and, even in my dark hair, pretty much disappears.

I read about this in a review from another brunette (right here on Drugstore.com) and I give her all the credit for finding this brunette-friendly dry shampoo!

This is a very good dry shampoo. I've found that most dry shampoos either use rice or aluminum starch to absorb oil. I prefer rice starch formulas such as this one or Klorane as I find them to be gentler on my scalp and to give my hair more volume. My only issue with this product is the smell, which I'd describe as citrusy chemical. Still, for the price ($1.60 per ounce as opposed to $5.63 per ounce for Klorane), it's a great product. Just be sure to shake before every spray. Oh, and I have black hair, and this product disappears once I let it sit before brushing it out, whether with my fingers or a brush or comb.

I bought a can of this product at a local drugstore. By the time I arrived home, the can was empty.

I returned it to the store and exchanged it for another can. This one I got a few uses out of, then I heard a fizzing sound and the contents were gone!

I wash my hair every other day but have oily hair so I rely on dry shampoo to get me through. I've tried many brands and am currently using this one. Some dry shampoos leave your hair feeling extremely gross, but I have not experienced that with this one. If you aren't careful to continually shake it during application it can spray a big section of powder into your hair, but it is easily worked into hair with a brush or hands. It smells nice (reminds me of B&BW white tea and ginger), but is really strong. I work in an environment where I can't wear perfume and I don't feel comfortable using this when I have to work. Otherwise, a decent product.

I was hesitant to order this because of some of the other reviewers issues with the can. I am very happy I did because I experienced none of those issues. I think they may have fixed the can as it seems to be an issue on some of the older reviews. I love this product! It is inexpensive and works really well. I like it much better then some of the more expensive ones I've tried.

this is absolutely my favorite dry shampoo. it's inexpensive, smells like roses, and doesn't make my baby fine, dark brown hair look gray/ashy, no matter how generously i apply it. i even use it on freshly shampooed/styled hair to give additional, long lasting volume. also great works great for the bed-head/matte look!

I use this every day either on my clean hair to give it that extra boost or on wash-skip days to remove oils from my scalp. I have tried nearly every dry shampoo on the market, and this is the only one I will ever buy more of. It dries quickly and allows you to rub into the scalp faster, stays volumous longer, doesn't clump on your hair and create some not so sexy flakiness and smells a lot like fruit loops! I am so happy with this impulse purchase as I was about to give up on skipping a wash day because I was uhappy with all the other lackuster products. This will be a must-have on my bathroom counter.
